In the “freakenomic” world, those who are fooled by all these gov’t / media bullshits such as Health Care Reform, Global Warming, Swine Flu & vaccination, 2008 global financial tsunami, Wall Street bank bailout plan, Obama’s “change” promises, CPI & unemployment numbers, gold price, etc….. are the same stupid people who have lost BIG money in their 401k retirement investment during 2008 financial tsunami and who will suffer the most during the Great Depression 2. ☆☆☆☆☆
Jesus help us. I mean that. Literally. We need a miracle on this issue. Right Now, as it goes into conference committee with the House bill, to create one that the President can actually sign & we can all be at least somewhat proud of. Mandate=Alex Jones may have been right about some things. No public option=COMPLETE INSANITY. I really believed in this President. Please let this all be because they know the bill that’ll come out of committee will be fixed, & can be signed, a good beginning!
Millions more die because there is a disconnect between patients and doctors — thousands die from adverse drug reactions, medical errors, misinterpreted orders, and pharmaceutical companies that give us drugs to make us sicker. The government is paying over 60% of the cost of care already, and that has made our healthcare accountable to the government, not the patients.

The CBO CANNOT give accurate cost projections. In the 1960s the CBO projected that Medicare would cost $12 billion by 1990. Instead it cost $110 billion! Medicaid’s Disproportionate Share Hospital program, created in 1987, was supposed to cost $1 billion by 1992. Instead it cost $17 billion in 1992! The dollar has lost over 98% of it’s value since 1900 (thanks to the Fed inflating it to death) and the U.S. government does a terrible job at cost estimation. This healthcare bill is bad news.
This healthcare bill is going to blow a hole in the budget for our already bankrupt country, thanks to banker bailouts an war mongering. Congress is allowing the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) to scam Americans with their flawed cost projections. Healthcare reform is really a bailout for the insurance companies. Insurance company stocks are at 52 year highs.
I work for Caterpillar and our corporate office just released a memo to employees about the senate healthcare bill. After reading the bill it was determined that our healthcare costs will go up 20% the first year alone, due to this proposed reform bill. My senator, Claire McCaskill has shut her constituants out. Her office has not been accepting phone calls for a week now. When do we stop this insanity?

You can come up with as many equations as you want but the fact remains, the civilians can not defeat the US government no matter what type of war it becomes. There will be no revolution, just a few dumb rednecks being a minor annoyance.
@nomadinexile People are unrealistic..It took 400 years for my people to get their civil rights, bill after bill that was not strong enough but now we have our rights…Rome was not built in a day this is a good step in the right direction. Obama has to work with people who do not want all the same things WE want thats life. If this bill gets killed then fuck we will not get shit for at least 15 years for some reason progressives just do not understand that…..
America is governed by corporate thugs, no matter what u try to reform its always ends up in their favor. Because most of the congress is owned by these corporate thugs. Especially those who been in congress for more than six years, they all corporate hoes who will never vote for something that is in favor of the ppl who elected them.
I don’t claim to be an expert. But a lot of experts, do think, this load of a bill stinks. Don’t act like that’s not a valid opinion unless you aren’t interested in honest discussion. Obama stinks, and I pushed people to vote for him. I though he could save our country. But no anchor here, just some crazy guy cutting holes in the hull. Dang shame.

Teddy Roosevelt? He was at least honest. This bill is just more christmas for Corporations, just like it’s been ever year for us. Obama says, “let them eat cake”, and through half-tailed obvious “reforms” so the minions think they count. I said Bush was going to be the worst american president before he took office. He was. Obama is going to exceed him, in many ways, mostly bad. Obama is going to claim worst president ever by end of this term.
