I googled Day Trading. The first thing i saw. 80 % of day traders loose money when fees are factored in.
Can U make more money Day Trading than.. say..buying silver at 12$ an ounce. selling at 18.50 an ounce?
I realize 12 $ to 18$ does not happen in a *Day* but… what money would you get if your the 20% winner
Sounds like you have a good strategy by playing small size mid-day. 100 and 200 shares. Almost a little bit of a scalp, But don’t kid, they add up!
So you “sell” 1000 shares at 10.00 and it goes down to 9.00 you make $1000. There is no chart to short stocks but you have to have a margin account, you cannot have a cash account.
so you make money when your stock price go down.. lets say i bought 1000 stocks $10 per share.. when that goes to $9 per share i make money?how is that.. do brokerage account charges you for short stock?
It means that you sell a stock that you do not have at a higher price, and then when it drops in price you buy it back or Buy to Cover and you get to keep the difference. If I short a stock at 10.00 and it drops to 9.00 I make 1.00 so you are making money when the price goes down.

Where u locate at? When you say mid day your your chart time showing 10am. Also, when you scalp what time frame you use. Ex. 5 min. or 1min. AET your chart showing 5min. Right?
